Qualification

  • Equivalent diploma/degree

  • 2 to 4 years related experience in construction project implementation

  • Excellent communication skill

  • Good Typing Skill

Job Description

  • Creating an efficient filing system that properly organizes all outbound and inbound documentation, responsible for organizing and handling the numerous documents

  • Receives and registers Client provided document for detail engineering or construction     engineering project, including in-house generated document. 

  • Controls issuance of document numbers, including maintenance of proper document registers for detail engineering or construction engineering project. 

  • Reviews completeness of documentation and prepares document transmittals. 

  • Performs document quality check in accordance to Company engineering document control procedures. 

  • Performs file backup to ensure proper storage and archiving of electronic registers. 

  • Coordinate all activities related to the Document Control procedure, including technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondence.

  • Input document data into the standard registers ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date. Generate the various document control reports as required.

  • Makes sure that controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are given to the appropriate staff, subcontractors and suppliers as applicable

  • Maintain updated records of all approved documents and drawings and their distribution clearly

  • Maintain the documents and drawings in the Document Control office under safe custody without any damage or deterioration with easy traceability.

  • Maintain the files and control logs as required by the project.

  • Control all aspects of project documentation on multiple simultaneous projects, utilizing various control methods/systems.

  • Prepare, operate and update Document Control Procedures in line with the Company’s Document Management System.

  • Ensure all documentation provided is as per Client quality formatting requirements. Formatting may include correcting templates, fonts and style, pagination and numbering and other activities that may be required to achieve a client’s documentation requirements.

  • Ensure all templates used with the department conform to the Company standard.

  • HSE Responsibility:  To take care of own health and safety and that of others including the Environment that may be affected at work.  To cooperate with employers and co-workers to meet the legal requirements.

  • HSE Accountability:  To report to supervisor/top management any risk/incident related to health and safety and environment in his work area.
