Qualification

  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineer 

  • 10 to 15 years related experience in construction field 

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD & Coordination Drawings Systems

  •  Excellent planning and analytical skills and attention to details

  • Strong sense of urgency and initiative

  • Able to work on extended hours to fulfill and respond to emergency situation

Job Description

​

  • Supervise To direct lead, control and manage all mechanical, electrical and plumbing  project responsibilities from initial phase to completion ensuring all HSE and quality requirements

  • To provide MEP quality supervision expertise.  

  • Monitoring progress and performance of construction Sub-contractor during the execution of work.

  • Estimate MEP trades during pre-construction

  • Review Contract Documents, making suggestions/modifications as they relate to the MEP scope of works

  • Manage and lead MEP subcontractors throughout duration of the project

  • Assist Scheduling department with developing detailed CPM schedules for all MEP installation activities, including cost and resource loading

  • Review and approve material and equipment for MEP systems prior to installation

  • Monitor the installation and start-up of MEP systems and commissioning of project with Engineer & management

  • Coordinate activities, materials procurement and other related activities with Project Manager and Field Staff

  • Develops and reviews designs for mechanical/electromechanical and plumbing systems and oversees the preparation of related engineering drawings.

  • Prepares MEP Design Reports and pursue approvals from relevant regulatory authorities.

  • Evaluates mechanical and electromechanical systems and products by undertaking and applying the relevant principles

  • Assists in the development of RFQs / RFPs from inception to sign-off of project(s).

  • Oversees and monitors the construction of mechanical/electromechanical, electrical and plumbing systems

  • Provides technical advice/input relevant to MEP systems

  • Read and interpret design and construction drawings, schematics and system generated reports Ensures that the records management function is maintained in accordance with the Corporation’s approved policies and procedures

  • Lead and direct the 3-D coordination process & Draftsman to resolve all conflicts prior to start of installations

  • Take overall responsibility for the performance of all MEP trades and Supervise review and coordination of submittals and shop drawings
