Qualification

  • Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering (Environmental or OHS)

  • Experience: 3 to 5 years related experience in similar HSE position in construction project implementation

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

  • Strong customer service orientation

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to details

  • Able to work on extended hours to fulfill and respond to emergency situation

  • Professional manner able to take firm and timely decisions

  • Nebosh IGC - Certified

  • OSHAD - Certified

Job Description

  •  To plan, develop, coordinate and ensure the provision of health, safety and environment policies are properly implemented.

  • Implement an HSE framework that ensures that ongoing development projects and site work strictly adhere to the H&S policies of the Company.

  • Implement appropriate HSE guidelines and ensure that corresponding documentation encompasses all construction activities.

  • Prepare HSE review schedules and their implementation and checks.

  • Develop emergency response procedures and plans, and ensure that procedures are continuously updated.

  • Continuously update the HSE framework and guidelines to ensure that all construction risks and HSE records are visible to management and reported periodically.

  • Identify and flag HSE issues in a timely and ensure these issues are communicated to the company’s management in accordance with the company’s requirements.

  • Oversee all HSE management processes and activities of contractors to ensure that controls and documentation are in line with the requirements of the development.

  • Recommend and implement corrective processes and action as deemed necessary.

  • Review and recommend evaluation and acceptance of contractor H&S management and assurance processes
