Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering (Environmental or OHS)

Experience: 3 to 5 years related experience in similar HSE position in construction project implementation

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

Strong customer service orientation

Strong analytical skills and attention to details

Able to work on extended hours to fulfill and respond to emergency situation

Professional manner able to take firm and timely decisions

Nebosh IGC - Certified

Job Description
-
To plan, develop, coordinate and ensure the provision of health, safety and environment policies are properly implemented.

Implement an HSE framework that ensures that ongoing development projects and site work strictly adhere to the H&S policies of the Company.

Implement appropriate HSE guidelines and ensure that corresponding documentation encompasses all construction activities.

Prepare HSE review schedules and their implementation and checks.

Develop emergency response procedures and plans, and ensure that procedures are continuously updated.

Continuously update the HSE framework and guidelines to ensure that all construction risks and HSE records are visible to management and reported periodically.

Identify and flag HSE issues in a timely and ensure these issues are communicated to the company’s management in accordance with the company’s requirements.

Oversee all HSE management processes and activities of contractors to ensure that controls and documentation are in line with the requirements of the development.

Recommend and implement corrective processes and action as deemed necessary.

Review and recommend evaluation and acceptance of contractor H&S management and assurance processes
